Job summary

Aprio in Atlanta is seeking a motivated Financial Planning Intern to gain hands-on experience in wealth management, personal financial planning, investment management, and client relationship support. You will work closely with financial planners to assist in preparing plans, reports, and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing a major or minor in Financial Planning, Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• Strong academic performance with a concentration in financial planning coursework.
• Pursuit of CFP®, CFA®, or Series 65 is highly encouraged.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with financial planning software (eMoney) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial plans, investment reports, and client deliverables.
• Analyze client data to help develop tailored investment, retirement, and tax strategies.
• Conduct research on financial products, investment opportunities, and economic trends.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning Intern to join our team in Atlanta. This internship is designed to provide hands‑on experience in wealth management and provides an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of personal financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management. You’ll work closely with the financial planners and other team members to support the ongoing service of our clients, conduct research, special projects, and gain insight into a career in financial services.
