Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Tax Intern for Summer 2027 in the Birmingham, AL office. The program offers hands-on client work, exposure to complex tax matters, and mentorship in a fully in-office setting.

Expected to pursue a CPA license with a clear coursework plan, you’ll analyze tax data, assist with returns, and collaborate across teams. Applicants should be accounting majors with a minimum 3.3 GPA, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication.

• Accounting major pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 3.3 GPA.
• On track to meet CPA eligibility requirements with a clear plan to pursue CPA licensure.

Internship Requirements

• No classes are permitted during the duration of the internship period.
• Spring internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and standard business hours.
• This internship is designed as a fully in-office experience to maximize mentorship, collaboration, and real-time learning with our teams.
