Job summary

Dynamic Ratings is seeking Software Engineering Interns to contribute to embedded Linux applications and web tool development. You will work in multiple teams handling real-world data and customer insights, gaining hands-on experience in both embedded systems and modern web technologies.

On-site internship in Sussex, WI, with collaboration across Business Logic, Web, and QA Test groups. Applicable coursework should include C/C++, Linux, JavaScript, and related languages.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in software-related field.
• Experience or coursework in programming languages listed (C/C++, JS, etc.).
• Ability to learn new languages/tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build application-level software in an embedded Linux environment to transform real-world inputs into insights for customers.
• Develop web-based tools using JavaScript/HTML/CSS/C# and modern frameworks (Vue, React, Angular).
• Assist in QA testing of embedded and web-based software products.

Intern Responsibilities

We are hiring multiple interns to join our Development Engineering group. Each intern will be placed in one of the following specialized teams:

Business Logic / Application Programming Team

• Build application-level software in an embedded Linux environment that takes real world inputs and turns them into powerful insights for our customers.
• Best suited for those with experience in C/C++ and Linux-based development.

Web Application Programming Team

• Create and enhance web-based tools for internal and external users.
• Projects could cover work performed in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C# and modern web frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular).

Software Testing (QA Test Group)

• Test embedded and web-based software products.
• Ideal for candidates with attention to detail and familiarity with software testing principles and tools.

Intern Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Coursework or experience in Relevant Programming Languages / Skills
• Ability to quickly learn new programming languages or tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work onsite in Sussex, WI (relocation not available).
