Overview

Design Showroom Intern – This internship is designed to help you explore career opportunities at Riverhead Building Supply (RBS) while gaining hands-on experience and developing valuable professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Showroom operations, customer service, and product knowledge
• Sample libraries, vendor relationships, and industry processes
• Leading manufacturers of cabinetry, hardware, appliances, countertops, moldings, and millwork
• Design and sales processes, including order entry and CRM documentation
• Building relationships with homeowners, architects, builders, contractors, and trade professionals

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; 20/20 Design or CAD experience is a plus
• A customer-focused mindset and professional demeanor

For compliance purposes for RI transparency, the expected salary range is $18.00–$21.00 per hour. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
