Job summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a junior verification engineer to contribute to mixed-signal device verification from Andover, MA. You will help plan verification activities, build testbenches, and run simulations to confirm design intent under varied conditions.

Working with Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog, you will develop models and regression flows, collaborating with design and verification teams. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering is expected, with Cadence tools familiarity

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Analog coursework in circuits, electronics, signal analysis, or mixed-signal fundamentals preferred
  • Coding experience in Python, MATLAB, Tcl or similar tools
  • Experience with Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog, familiarity with mixed-signal modeling approaches
  • Cadence tools exposure: Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE Explorer/Assembler, vManager, Xcelium
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills for cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Develop verification plans per device specs to ensure coverage of analog/mixed-signal design intent
  • Generate and maintain Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog models to support simulation
  • Develop testbenches, simulation environments, and regression flows for mixed-signal verification
  • Create and execute mixed-signal simulation flows across operating conditions
  • Perform corner analysis to ensure robustness and performance compliance

Key responsibilities
  • Verification Planning: Develop verification plans per device specifications and requirements to ensure coverage of analog and mixed-signal design intent
  • Behavioral Modeling: Generate and maintain Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, and mixed-signal behavioral models to support simulation and verification workflows
  • Testbench Development: Develop testbenches, simulation environments, and regression flows for mixed-signal verification
  • Simulation Execution: Create and execute mixed-signal simulation flows to validate device-level and system-level behavior across operating conditions
  • Corner Analysis: Evaluate behavior under nominal and corner conditions to ensure design robustness and performance compliance
Qualifications and skills
  • Education: Junior level or higher, actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
  • Analog Coursework: Coursework in analog circuits, electronics, signal analysis, or mixed-signal fundamentals strongly preferred
  • Coding Ability: Demonstrated coding or scripting experience in Python, MATLAB, Tcl, or similar tools preferred
  • Languages: Experience with Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog and familiarity with mixed-signal modeling approaches
  • Cadence Tools: Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE Explorer/Assembler, vManager, and Xcelium preferred
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with ability to collaborate across design and verification teams

  • Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate: US$31.00 – US$37.50
  • In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
