Job summary

Sunoco LP is offering a 12-week paid internship in the Philadelphia area, starting May 2027. Interns will gain exposure to the fuel business, collaborate with executives, and develop analytical reports to optimize performance.

Eligible students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028. Interns will support Commercial teams such as Fuel Pricing, Fuel Supply, Logistics, Trading, and Systems Setup, and will learn about

Sunoco, L.P., the leading operator of critical energy infrastructure and North America’s largest independent fuel distributor, is looking for interns to join one of our fast-paced, high impact teams in Philadelphia, PA, We are seeking to fill roles in the following departments: Supply, Trading, Pricing Race Fuels and Business Development.

Internship Program Details

This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with team members and executives to learn Sunoco’s Fuel Business. Develop metrics and provide reports for business optimization and monitoring; use analysis to help identify potential opportunities.
• Assist with management of asset and customer data for integration of new business into Sunoco systems.
• Meet and work with various team members to learn the ins and outs of corporate environment.
• Review data, such as expenses, fuel margins and prices, to identify exceptions, report key metrics, and develop corrective actions.
• Review fuel market data and help develop tools for analysis and monitoring.
• Perform project work to support one or several of the following Commercial teams: Fuel Pricing, Fuel Supply, Logistics, Trading, Midstream, Quality, and Systems Setup.
