Job summary

Inside Out Installation is seeking an Installation Technician (MDU) to join our team in the Minneapolis metro area. You will complete service orders, install communication systems, and ensure residents have seamless internet connectivity in multi-dwelling buildings.

The role requires hands-on technical ability, customer-facing experience, and a valid Class D driver’s license. Training is provided, with potential for growth in field tech responsibilities.

Qualifications

• One year of in-person customer interaction experience.
• A certificate or degree in a technical field (e.g., basic electronics) is a plus.
• Must possess a valid Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain Registered Unlicensed PLT certification.
• Strong proficiency with hand tools, computer operations (email, databases), and professional communication.

Installation Technician (MDU)

We seek a detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team in the Minneapolis metro area. In this role, you will be responsible for completing service orders, installing communication systems, and ensuring residents have seamless internet connectivity for our customers in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), such as apartment complexes and condos.

Location: Roseville, MN

Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour / or more depending on experience

Status: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• MDU Installations: Assist with the installation of facility wiring within multi-unit buildings

• Service & Training: Greet customers professionally, complete tasks accurately, and provide essential training to residents on how to use their new systems

• Licensing: Must possess a valid Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements & Environment

• Activity: A typical day involves a mix of sitting (3 hrs), standing (2 hrs), and walking (3 hrs)

• Lifting: Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50+ lbs

• Conditions: Must be comfortable working in confined spaces (crawl spaces/attics), navigating weather conditions, and ladder work

• Flexibility: Occasional work outside of normal business hours and local travel is required.
