Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company and North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is seeking an International Trade Compliance Specialist in Wisconsin. You will tackle regulatory hurdles, identify tariff savings, and support international shipments to bring our high-quality products to global destinations.

• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and experience in compliance or legal analysis.
• Bilingual skills are a plus and strong organizational and communication abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Review product descriptions and data to identify import/export classifications per government standards.
• Create and administer internal audit processes for accurate classifications and import entries.
• Respond to inquiries from customs brokers, government agencies, internal/external customers, and vendors.
• Research and develop processes related to regulatory issues, licenses and government requirements.
• Manage trade compliance programs, including follow up, process improvements and training.

Position Responsibilities

• Review product descriptions and technical data to identify import / export classification in accordance with government standards.
• Create and administer internal audit processes for accurate classifications and import entries.
• Respond to inquiries from customs brokers, government agencies, internal customers, external customers and vendors for international shipments.
• Research and create processes related to regulatory issues, licenses and government requirements.
• Manage trade compliance programs, including follow up, process improvements, internal communication, team training and audit readiness.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous compliance / legal analyst experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
