Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington seeks a Designated School Official (DSO) within the Office of International Services, IU Global. You will monitor SEVIS, advise international students, and support cross-functional advising teams while ensuring compliance with DOS and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international affairs, higher education administration, public administration or related field.
• Experience advising international students or working in international services, higher education, or compliance.
• Proficient communication, professionalism, time management and attention to quality.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations in a customer-facing setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SEVIS alerts and process e-forms in sunapsis, ensuring timely reporting.
• Provide operational support to the advising team, including onboarding and training.
• Develop and maintain documentation on health insurance, taxes, Social Security, etc.
• Assist with usability testing and improvements of e-forms and workflows.
• Support workload distribution and case management in a high-volume advising environment.
• Collaborate with ISSS leadership and SR team on scheduling and training.
