Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors, recruiting for a leading financial services firm in Jacksonville, FL, seeks an International Settlements Clerk to support settlements for international equities and fixed income. This onsite role requires experience in securities operations and post-trade processes.

You will review trades, monitor settlements, and coordinate with custodians and counterparties. 1–3 years in securities operations plus knowledge of settlement systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in securities operations, settlements, custody, FX, or a related function.
• Understanding of trade settlement and post-trade processes.
• Experience with reconciliations, exception management, or break resolution.
• Exposure to international markets is a plus.
• Knowledge of Euroclear, CREST, DVP/FOP, or SWIFT is highly preferred.
• FIS Phase 3 experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor international equity and fixed-income transactions through settlement.

• Monitor unmatched, pending, and failed transactions and work to resolve exceptions.
• Coordinate with custodians, counterparties, clearing agents, and internal teams.
• Investigate settlement discrepancies, funding issues, booking errors, and other breaks.
• Support securities and cash reconciliations.
• Monitor settlement deadlines, penalties, claims, and other exceptions.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reporting.
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce settlement risk.

A leading financial services firm is looking to add an International Settlements Clerk to its Operations team in Jacksonville, FL. This is an onsite opportunity ideal for someone with experience in securities operations, settlements, custody, FX, or related middle/back-office functions.

What You’ll Do:

• Process and monitor international equity and fixed-income transactions through settlement
• Review trade details, allocations, confirmations, and matching status
