Job summary

GACC West, the Silicon Valley outpost of the German Chambers of Commerce, is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern. You will shape our content strategy, promote programs and events, and manage our digital channels to connect German and American markets.

The role offers hands-on ownership from day one in a fast-paced environment, with growth opportunities across tech and international business, including visa support for the J-1 program and a 12-month new-project focused internship.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Digital Marketing/Communications experience required.
• Creative and curious communication enthusiast.
• Proactive and self-driven problem solver.
• Bilingual proficiency in German and English.
• Passion for innovation, tech and international business.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital storytelling across platforms.
• Drive engagement across social media, mailings and other channels.
• Analyze campaign performance.
• Design marketing visuals and edit video material.
• Plan business events and conferences in various industries.
• Develop innovation-focused content.
• Contact & website management (Ibexa-based).
