The Control Systems group is made up of a diverse team of engineers covering software (traditional and model-based), systems, electronics, mechanical and system (cyber) security. We work closely together in the design, integration, testing, in-service support and supply chain management to ensure our customers’ needs are met.
Control Systems at Rolls-Royce is an integral part of making sure the power and propulsion systems we produce meet customer requirements and uphold quality, safety and security standards. The various teams design and maintain the software and hardware that support the power and propulsion systems deployed around the world.

This internship is funded by the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech through an endowment grant given to the selected students. All communications surrounding pay and auxiliary benefits will be presented at time of offer from each university.
Must be a student graduating between December 2027 and May 2028 at the University of Virginia or Virginia Tech to be eligible for this internship
