Job summary

Crump is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive revenue by building strong relationships with producers and recruiting new agents to grow a book of business.

You will promote agent development, coordinate with sales resources, and leverage Crump resources and illustrations to deliver solutions. The role emphasizes proactive calling, teamwork with operations, and maintaining expert knowledge of products and carriers.

Job Summary

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds relationships with key producers to discuss complex sales concepts, marketing campaigns, and product information.

  • Maintain and grow team sales goal in coordination with sales resources

  • Proactive calling to all assigned agents to build territory

  • Develop new business by recruiting new agents and growing existing agent groups to maximize revenue potential

  • Partner with sales resources in all aspects of producer development.

  • Be able to call on lower producing agents in a sales capacity.

  • Maintain a proactive and supportive relationship with the sales, operations teams, the assigned group of agents, and solution centers.

  • Develop expert knowledge of products, carriers, and Crump resources.

  • Coordinate with sales team and producers to run complex and advanced illustrations consulting on creative solutions

  • Effectively utilize company client management system to manage sales process


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with PCs in a Windows environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

  • Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions

  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience

  • Excellent telephone etiquette skills

  • Ability to display maturity, competitiveness, and a good work ethic

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Insurance industry, life and other related insurance products and sales processes

  • Possess basic knowledge of insurance underwriting

  • Two years of work experience in the life insurance industry, with one year of experience in a sales support role


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Series 6 and State Insurance Licenses

  • Understanding of sales concepts, illustrations, and the underwriting process
