Job summary

Acro Service Corp. is seeking an Internal Training Technical 2 to design, schedule, deliver, and track technical training under supervision in Orlando, FL.

You will establish training modules, coordinate knowledge assessments, and prep learning labs, ensuring consistency with SOPs and onboarding processes. The role involves using NASA LMSs, creating and updating course materials, and assisting with LMS migrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Basic Instructional Design skills (maintenance & testing using existing templates).
• Basic understanding of ADA compliance in web-based training.

Responsibilities

• Designs, schedules, delivers and tracks technical training under supervision.
• Establishes training modules and ensures consistency in onboarding.
• Coordinates knowledge assessments and updates client SOPs and materials.
• Prepares labs and maintains training materials and aids.
• Runs reports from NASA LMSs to update client LMS data.
• Schedules participants for NASA delivered courses and inputs rosters.
• Supports LMS migrations prep and updates OJT documents.

Job description

Under supervision of training professional, designs, schedules, delivers and tracks technical training. Establishes training and education modules and ensure consistency in the delivery of technical training and on-boarding. Provides train-the-trainer program and qualifies all area trainers for content delivery. Partners with the functional area, develops training materials, and knowledge assessments, for area standard operation procedures (SOP's) and coordinates knowledge assessment. Utilizes training authoring and multimedia tools and software for assigned development projects. Keeps abreast of training and development research, learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.

Basic Qualifications for Internal Training Technical 2

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experience in basic navigation of Learning Management Systems (LMS); SABA/Cornerstone preferred

Basic navigation to include roster input, role assignment, course completion, course description updates, course material attachments, basic reporting

Class and learning lab prep and maintenance (copies, binders, job aids, materials, tools)

Run reports from NASA LMS’s (TCRS & SATERN) to update client LMS

Schedule participants for NASA delivered courses (EOR, SACBA, SCAPE)

Input rosters and OJT training completion in client LMS

Submit rosters to NASA’s training center

Assist with limited client LMS migration prep to new LMS

Update OJT documents (with input provided by others)

Preferred Qualifications for Internal Training Technical 2

Basic Instructional Design skills (not course development, but rather, course maintenance and testing or updates using existing courses and templates)

Experience working with Lectora 21 software

Basic understanding of ADA compliance in web-based training, specifically, in Lectora 21
