Job summary

Christie is seeking an Internal Service Technician to support service and operations teams onsite at our Ohio facility. The role involves basic warehouse duties, inventory control, incoming inspections, testing and refurbishing demonstration equipment, and contributing to repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AV equipment at board level, multimedia installation, PC hardware repair, and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Previous experience troubleshooting AV equipment at the board level using software, error logs, and service manuals.
• Experience with Multimedia equipment installation and experience
• Excellent organizational skills and a results orientation approach
• Working knowledge of PC hardware, setup and repair
• Comprehensive understanding of Christie Digital products and related equipment
• Flexibility to work onsite on a permanent basis

Responsibilities

• Perform basic technical repairs, inspections, refurbishments, maintenance of demonstration equipment, and quality inspections
• Responsible for refurbished Repair activity of product which is to be sold, ensuring operation, presentation and when necessary upgrading software and hardware as per Refurbish Product Specifications
• Responsible for the Quality Inspection / Re-work of any New Product that has failed during testing/configuration. Escalate issues found to the Quality Group.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of repairs bays.
• Complete inbound goods receipt / inspection of customer and Christie owned product accurately account for inventory use, maintaining accurate records of consumption
• Keep customers informed of progress and evolve unresolved issues as necessary.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept orderly and a safe environment.
• Assist local Operations team with outbound shipment process - Pick, pack, and ship.
• Assist local Operations team with the cycle count process.
