Job summary

ELANTAS Beck India Ltd. in Schenectady, NY is seeking a proactive team lead to manage a local customer-facing operations group. You will coach staff, oversee order processing, and ensure procedures are followed, coordinating with Production, Shipping, Finance, Quality, and Sales.

As a key SAP user, you will generate reports, present data to stakeholders, and support regional teams. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and data-entry accuracy, with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• CFR 49 / IATA / IMDG certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Export experience a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; familiarity with manufacturing software applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage local Schenectady, NY team supporting order processing and customer activities.
• Coach and develop team; maintain department procedures.
• Coordinate with external customers and internal functions (Production, Shipping, Finance, Quality, Sales).

Your Responsibilities

• Leads and manages local team based out of Schenectady, NY site supporting order processing and other customer-facing activities.
• Responsible for individual coaching and development of team members, including development and maintenance of department‑specific procedures.
• Meets and coordinates with external customers as well as internal functions including Production, Shipping, Finance, Quality, external Sales, and others.
• Key user of internal systems, especially SAP.
• Generate reports and present data related to the function to internal stakeholders.
• Support other local and regional teams as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications majors preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Certification: CFR 49 / IATA / IMDG certification or able to obtain the certification within 12 months.
• Previous Export experience a plus.
• Proficiency in word‑processing and spreadsheet applications required (MS Word & Excel preferred). Familiarity with manufacturing software applications is preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required.
• Excellent telephone presence to respond to customer inquiries in a calm, professional, and courteous manner, yet always keeping Company policies in mind.

• Accurate typing and data entry skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills are required.
