Responsibilities

Job Description

The Internal Practice Management & Teams Consultant provides critical operational, content, and event support to the Practice Management & Teams (PM&T) group. Serving as the initial point of contact for the field, this role manages incoming inquiries, administer assessments, and ensures seamless service delivery of department resources.

Beyond core administration, this position is focused on event logistics and support, content development and organization, and initiative tracking. This position will design digital and print materials, coordinate regional workshops, and provide episodic coaching support and follow-up to financial advisors and their teams. This fast-paced role requires flexibility and the ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Major Job Accountabilities
Client Service & Team Support
  • Field Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for incoming inquiries, routing requests and connecting field members with PM&T resources.
  • Assessment Administration: Manage and administer behavioral and team-performance assessments for field teams.
  • Coaching Assistance: Participate in episodic or short‑term coaching engagement support for financial advisors and their teams.
Content Creation & Graphic Design
  • Collateral Design: Produce visually compelling workshop materials, digital resources, infographics, handouts, and workbooks using modern layout tools.
  • Presentations: Develop high‑impact PowerPoint presentations and agendas for executive and field audiences.
  • Brand Refresh: Format and update existing team content to ensure all templates and resources are modern, professional, and brand compliant.
Communications & Operations
  • Field Communications: Draft and distribute multi‑platform internal communications, digital invitations, follow‑up materials, and program updates to boost engagement.
  • Daily Operations: Manage department calendars, maintain active distribution lists, track vendor billing, and monitor key project initiatives
  • Process Improvement: Participate in internal team projects to streamline operations and enhance service quality.
Event Management & Logistics
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate, execute, and track regional in‑person and virtual workshops, conferences, and programs.
  • Digital Setup: Build event registration websites, maintain attendee lists, and schedule/host virtual sessions via Webex.
  • Onsite Logistics: Coordinate AV setup, room layouts, and catering coordination.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, hospitality, event management, marketing, or related field.
  • 2-4+ years corporate work experience
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Superior interpersonal skills, including relationship‑building with all levels of employees.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong proofreading and copywriting capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to handle simultaneous moving parts and tight deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel (estimated at 20%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with business analytics, client segmentation, and tracking tools.
  • Experience working within the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency with graphic design platforms (such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar visual layout tools).
  • Familiarity running virtual and hybrid meeting software and troubleshooting digital complications.
  • Ability to collect and analyze metrics to produce data‑driven insights to increase impact and enhance future strategies.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $55,000-$95,000depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
