Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Saw Operator for 1st shift. You will set up the saw to exact specifications, wear all required PPE, follow the production schedule, and obtain work instructions from the specification book and BOM notes.

You will verify parts, perform second checks, maintain forklift and E21 certifications, record production data, update the saw schedule, clean the area, and submit paperwork to the Group Leaders. Additional duties as assigned.

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to: Cut skins to special specs and make custom fit doors and lite dividers.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up saw to proper specifications. Wear all required PPE according to plant safety matrix. Follow production schedule within the order presented. Obtain work instructions for product being produced by utilizing the specification book, computer in the “Saw Line Work Instructions”, and checking BOM notes for specials or special instructions. Verify correct parts have been set up at the saw and conduct 2nd verification checks. Maintain Forklift certification Maintain E21 certification and account, to include checking work order statuses End of Shift Responsibilities:

• Record production information;
• Update saw schedule;
• Clean Up and sweep around saw areas;
• Turn paperwork into the Group Leaders.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $47,860 USD - $57,200 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
