Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Internal Operations Intern to support tax document intake, organize client files, and assist with e-filing and timely delivery.

The role runs from January 2027 to April 2027, with opportunities to learn new technologies, collaborate with a team, and gain exposure to client service in a national accounting firm.

Qualifications

• Working towards the achievement of a bachelor27s degree in Accounting or Finance; degree strongly preferred.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and organizes client incoming tax documents.
• Assists with intake of tax information and prepares for routing.
• Ensures all client documents are being tracked and kept current.
• Organizes, scans and processes tax documents.
• Assembles client tax returns following established procedures.
• Assists team in meeting strict government deadlines.
• E-filing and other final delivery type steps.
• Other responsibilities may include preparation of informational tax documents.
• General operational support and other responsibilities/tasks as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
