The Vet Service in New Jersey seeks a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Small Animal Internist to join a well-established specialty and emergency setting with access to a broad range of referral disciplines. The role emphasizes managing medically complex cases while collaborating with emergency and specialty colleagues and building strong relationships with referring veterinarians and pet owners.

The successful internist will work alongside specialists in surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary institution.
• Completion of a one-year rotational internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care.
• Completion of an AVMA-approved three-year internal medicine residency.
• Board certification preferred, with residency-trained candidates also considered.
• Current state veterinary licence with ability to obtain and maintain DEA registration.

Responsabilités
