Qualifications

• General understanding and experience with small animal restraint with a focus on cats and dogs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Calm, professional demeanor with strong communication.
• Reliable time management and ability to multi-task in a busy hospital.
• Understand and follow SOPs and hospital processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic procedures including blood work, imaging, and endoscopy.
• Provide compassionate care and monitoring for internal medicine patients.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and wound care under supervision.
• Document medical records accurately and maintain equipment.
• Support veterinarians during biopsies and cytology procedures.
