Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (AVES) is hiring for an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician. Credentialed technicians with 3+ years of experience provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced specialty hospital in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or RVT/CVT with at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Restraint: safely restrain pets and assist with exams and treatments; monitor recovery and assist with discharge.
• Anesthesia & Surgery Support: induce and monitor anesthesia; prepare packs; assist in procedures and post-op cleanup.
• Laboratory & Diagnostics: collect, prepare, and submit lab samples; perform in-house tests; record results.
