Qualifications

• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.

• Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure.
• DEA registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and/or inpatient medical care to adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Deliver preventive care including health maintenance exams, screenings, and immunizations.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services.
• Interpret and manage diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies.
• Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment adherence.
• Manage transitions of care including hospital admissions, discharges, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement, population health, and patient safety initiatives.
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, or medical students as applicable.
• Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.

The Internal Medicine Physician provides comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and/or inpatient medical care to adult patients
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disorders, and gastrointestinal conditions
• Deliver preventive care including health maintenance exams, screenings, and immunizations
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services
• Interpret and manage diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies
• Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment adherence
• Manage transitions of care including hospital admissions, discharges, and follow-up
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
