Job summary

SEARHC in Sitka, Alaska seeks an MD/DO in internal medicine to deliver comprehensive care within a busy outpatient and clinic setting. The role features a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule with telemedicine, four hours of administrative time, and no on-call requirement.

The compensation range is $269,259–$299,177 depending on experience, plus productivity bonuses and quality incentives. Generous benefits, CME allowance, and relocation/sign-on support are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Internal Medicine residency completion.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Active Alaska medical license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality evidence-based medical care to SEARHC patients.
• Guide and supervise other SEARHC medical staff as needed.
• Lead a panel of internal medicine patients in coordination with the care team.
• Document all patient services in the medical record per rules.
• Participate in SEARHC quality and performance improvement programs.
• Provide medical education to visiting medical students and residents.
• Maintain licensure and board certification through ongoing CME.
