Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school.
• Current, unrestricted medical license.
• Residency in Internal Medicine completed.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings; prescribe appropriate treatment.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Follow through on cases to ensure effectiveness and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with specialists on interrelated cases.
• Provide primary care for active duty personnel and families to support readiness.
• Perform fitness-for-duty evaluations, physicals, profiles, and referrals.
• Contribute to teaching medical learners through lectures in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Instruct medical interns and related trainees in internal medicine.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
