Job summary

Avera Health in Marshall, MN is seeking a licensed physician to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care within a defined practice area.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients following approved protocols, educate patients and families, coordinate with the care team, maintain accurate records, and ensure safety and quality in all clinical activities. This is a full-time role emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MD license in the state of practice and board certified or board eligible.
• DO license in the state of practice and board certified or board eligible.
• US federal DEA license required or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients.
• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients per approved protocol and standards.
• Educates patients and families on health and care plans; maintains records.
• Collaborates with care team to coordinate referrals and optimize patient outcomes.
