Job summary

Hunter Recruiting seeks a Physician for a 60-day assignment in Indianapolis, IN, offering $150/hr (W2 or 1099). You will provide outpatient primary care, diagnose and manage moderate-to-complex conditions, and coordinate referrals with an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are MD/DO graduates, board-certified in Family/Internal/Geriatric Medicine, and passionate about improving consumer experiences. TB screening is required as part of the facility program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program
• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
• TB screening is required for this role

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care.
• Diagnose and manage moderate-to-complex medical conditions.
• Manage chronic disease in older adults.

• Maintain medical records/documentation.

Job description

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 60 days

Compensation: $150/hr (W2 or 1099 option)

The Physician serves as a health-care professional and capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. The Physician work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The physician is expected to:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care.
• Diagnose and manage moderate-to-complex medical conditions.
• Manage chronic disease in older adults.
• Coordinate referrals and work with specialists.
• Work with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment.
• Maintain medical records/documentation.
• Help manage Advanced Practice Providers (NPs) in the assigned clinic.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the facility's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
