Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO with at least three years of residency training in internal or family medicine.
• Valid American Board certification in internal or family medicine required.
• BLS certification and valid DEA registration necessary.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and treat their acute and chronic illnesses.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Involve patients and their families in care decisions.
• Create treatment plans and document in patients' charts.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians to improve care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with billing and coding.
• Provide interdepartmental medical consultation as needed.
