Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN seeks an Internal Medicine physician to join a four-physician team with an advanced practice provider. Flexible outpatient or outpatient-with-inpatient follow, shared nursing home call, and a 118-bed hospital with Level III trauma center offer a balanced practice.

Compensation includes a $375,000 floor for the first two years plus potential to exceed through wRVUs, plus a $100,000 retention incentive with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine preferred or to be completed within five years.
• Experience in inpatient/outpatient settings and hospital privileges considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations for adolescent and adult patients.
• Admit, evaluate, diagnose and treat patients within the setting, with inpatient care managed by hospitalists after hours.
• Provide consultative services and participate in collaborative care with the team.
