Job summary

BASS Medical Group in Chico, CA is seeking an Internal Medicine or Adult Family Medicine physician to join a family-oriented primary care team. The role focuses on outpatient care with a patient-centered approach and a favorable work-life balance.

You will provide preventive and chronic care for adults 18+, use Athena EMR and AI scribe to streamline charting, and work with 30-minute Wellness slots and 15-minute follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Minimum 2 years outpatient primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care for adults and geriatrics (18+).
• Conduct annual wellness visits and manage chronic diseases.
• Use Athena EMR and AI scribe to streamline charting.
• Maintain a low workload with 13–15 patients per day.
• Provide clinical oversight and collaboration for APPs.
