Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN seeks an Internal Medicine physician to join a four-physician group with one APP. Outpatient only or outpatient with inpatient follow-up; shared nursing home call; flexible schedule for work-life balance.

Includes integrated behavioral health and multi-specialty clinic support. The position offers a compensation floor of $375,000 with potential to exceed based on wRVUs and a $100,000 retention incentive.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in primary specialty (ABMS/AOA/RCPSC) as applicable.
• Active inpatient involvement in last 12 months, minimum 50 patients.
• Residency in Internal Medicine in accredited program; waiver possible per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations; admit where applicable; evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with hospitalists/other teams; manage inpatient and outpatient care; participate in continuity of care and quality initiatives.
