Job summary

Montefiore Health System’s Montefiore Medical Group seeks Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained primary care physicians for its Bronx and Westchester sites. The role emphasizes prevention, early disease detection and comprehensive care in a collaborative team environment.

The physician will manage general medical care, coordinate with Behavioral Health, quality coaches and leadership to drive outcomes, with a 40-hour week and no inpatient call. NYS medical license required.

Qualifications

• Completion of US accredited IM or FM Residency Program.
• NYS Medical License.
• Board Eligible/Board Certification.
• DEA
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct general physician medical care.
• Emphasize early detection of ailments, prevention, and all-around wellness.
• Serve as the first point of call for all patients.
• Collaborate with Integrated Behavioral Health team for holistic primary care.
• Collaborate with medical leadership and quality coaches to ensure best practices.
• Focus on quality outcomes and full coordination of care.
