TeamHealth is seeking an internal medicine physician to join our post-acute care team in Bluffton, South Carolina. This full-time 7 on 7 off role involves inpatient rehab rounding with strong support and earning potential. Compensation ranges from $217,687 to $274,972 annually with no cap on productivity income.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, participate in onboarding and leadership development, and enjoy opportunities for growth within the market.

Qualifications

• Current physician license (State of South Carolina) and DEA.
• Experience in post-acute or acute clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inpatient medical assessments, including history, physical exams, and review of rehabilitation goals.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with the rehabilitation plan.
• Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians, nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide medical education to patients and families related to recovery, comorbidities, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
