Job summary

Medrina, a physician-owned practice, is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our Seaford, Delaware team as a part-time contractor. The role focuses on SNF patient care, comprehensive assessments, and primary medical management.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Delaware license, be board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine, and possess DEA licensure, with strong clinical judgment and efficient EMR documentation. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 2-3 days per week.

Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add physicians to the team in our Seaford, DE market!'

'Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Responsible for full medical management and primary care
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Delaware license
• Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine
• Active DEA license
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Preferred Experience

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
• Inpatient hospitalist
• Geriatric Medicine

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.'
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.'
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.'
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
