Job summary

Ultipro in Morehead City, NC is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our clinical team. You will provide comprehensive care with independent clinical judgment, order tests, prescribe treatments, and coordinate with specialists.

The role requires NC license (or eligibility), MD/DO, and DEA/BLS credentials. A stable schedule from Monday to Friday, with a commitment to patient education and ethics, is expected. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited MD or DO program.
• NC State License required, or ability to obtain.
• DEA and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, quality medical care to patients.
• Exercise independent professional judgement in care and treatment of patients.
• Order and prescribe medical treatment, diagnostic testing, and other health services.
• Consult and counsel patients and families.
• Refer patients to appropriate medical specialists to assure multidisciplinary care.
• Document medical care in the patient’s medical record and assign codes for billing.
• Adhere to the principles of medical ethics.

• Prescribe medically appropriate pharmaceuticals
• Consult and counsel patients and families
• Provide health and medical education to patients and families

• Document medical and clinical care in the patient's medical record Assign the appropriate diagnosis and procedural codes to permit third party insurance billing
• Adhere to the principles of medical ethics

Job Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited MD or DO program
• NC State License required, or ability to obtain
