Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. in New York seeks an Internal Medicine Physician for a 100% outpatient role with flexible hours Monday–Friday and no on-call duties, in a physician-led group with locations across Long Island.

You will conduct history and physicals, order and interpret labs, create treatment plans, educate patients, document in EMR, and collaborate with care teams to drive quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.

Compensation: $300K-$500K per year

Job Type: Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, No call.

A well-established, physician-led group with locations throughout Long Island, is currently seeking to hire a Internal Medicine Physician. This practice has built a stellar reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 100% outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
