Job summary

Ascension in Indianapolis, IN seeks an Internal Medicine physician for outpatient care at Harcourt Rd Primary Care. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with a possible four-day work week, and occurs on a main hospital campus.

Responsibilities include longitudinal patient care, a daily volume of about 20–22, and opportunities to teach Interns and Residents from the Ascension/St. Vincent program. Board eligible or certified in IM; Indiana licensure required.

Qualifications

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities

• Join a highly productive team.
• Maintain work-life balance with call responsibility limited to Monday through Thursday, a manageable 1:5 weekend rotation, and only one required holiday per year.
• Practice setting: Outpatient.
• Perform small, in-office procedures such as punch biopsies and minor lesion removal.
• Teach Interns and Residents from the Ascension/St. Vincent program.
• Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for a diverse patient panel.
• Manage a daily volume of approximately 20-22 patients.
