Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in San Jose, CA is seeking Internal Medicine Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and clinics. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with clinical autonomy and the ability to impact patient outcomes.

You will perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, evaluate chronic wounds, and manage associated conditions. Training is provided to support wound care practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing wounds.
• Manage underlying conditions affecting wound healing.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care teams.

• Average Annual Earnings: 200,000-250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
