Skilled Wound Care is hiring Internal Medicine Physicians in Oakland, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and to provide high-quality chronic care with a no-call lifestyle.

This position offers a true Monday–Friday schedule, and comprehensive wound-care training is provided. Physicians can focus on patient outcomes, with competitive compensation ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 per year for full-time work, and flexible part-time options.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care or procedural experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as trained.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Manage underlying conditions affecting wound healing.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
