Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians seeks a part-time Internal Medicine physician to provide bedside wound care across facilities in the Des Moines, IA area. The role emphasizes autonomy, limited hours (7am-4pm, Monday–Friday for full-time; part-time options available), and a mobile practice with rounds at multiple facilities.

Clinicians deliver care in post-acute settings, perform weekly wound rounds, and utilize a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.
