Job summary

U.S. Army Medical Corps seeks an Internal Medicine Physician to diagnose and treat patients, supervise direct care, and participate in disease prevention and health programs. You will serve as a medical officer, lead medical teams, and contribute to military medical research and education while pursuing leadership training and humanitarian missions.

Applicants should possess an MD or DO, a current U.S. medical license, board eligibility, and complete M/GME internship. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must hold Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school (foreign grads with permanent ECFMG cert may apply).
• Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., DC, or Puerto Rico.
• Eligibility for board certification.
• Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship.
• U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat localized ailments and diseases in internal medicine.
• Supervise direct patient care and contribute to disease prevention and health programs.
• Lead or command medical units and participate in health support staff functions.
• Participate in medical education, training, and research within the Army Medical Corps.

Requirements :

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates

• Eligibility for board certification
