Job summary

Medrina in Bluffton, SC is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our ARF-focused team. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with Monday–Friday hours, no weekends, and a setting in an Acute Rehab Facility.

You will provide comprehensive medical care, oversee full medical management and primary care, and ensure accurate EMR documentation. Board-eligible or certified in Internal Medicine, with SC license and DEA license, is required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted South Carolina medical license.
• Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active DEA license.
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills.

Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add physicians to the team in our Bluffton, SC market!

'Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to ARF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Responsible for full medical management and primary care
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted South Carolina license
• Board eligible/certifiedin Internal Medicine
• Active DEA license
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Preferred Experience

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
• Inpatient hospitalist
• Geriatric Medicine

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.'
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds.'
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.'
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.'
• Mustcomply withfacility vaccination requirements.
