Job summary

Summit Health in Bend, Oregon is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to expand primary care access within a physician‑driven multispecialty practice serving Bend, Redmond, Sisters, and Sunriver. The role is part of the Internal Medicine Department and involves collaborating with a large group of primary‑care physicians and care‑team members to deliver exceptional patient care in Central Oregon.

Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and have or obtain

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Ready to practice in Oregon (licensure and credentialing).
• Experience or familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary‑care services to a growing patient population, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and health‑maintenance care.
• Collaborate with the hospitalist team and care managers to support smooth transitions of care.
• Serve on the Q12 evening outpatient call and use Epic with AI scribing for efficient charting.
• Coordinate care with our multidisciplinary specialists through a shared medical record.

About the Role

Summit Health is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to expand primary care access within our financially secure, physician‑driven multispecialty practice in Central Oregon. The role is part of our Internal Medicine Department and will work with a large group of primary‑care physicians and dedicated care‑team members to provide exceptional patient care in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, and Sunriver.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary‑care services to a growing patient population, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and health‑maintenance care.
• Collaborate with the hospitalist team and care managers to support smooth transitions of care.
• Serve on the Q12 evening outpatient call and use Epic with AI scribing for efficient charting.
• Coordinate care with our multidisciplinary specialists (pain medicine, endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, rheumatology, neurology, orthopedics, infusion services, and more) through a shared medical record.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Ready to practice in Oregon (licensure and credentialing).
• Experience or familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems.
