Job summary

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor with clinical expertise in internal medicine in the Department of Pharmacotherapy.

The successful candidate will teach across the PharmD curriculum, maintain an internal medicine clinical practice, engage in scholarship, and provide service to UNT Health and the profession. The appointment supports interprofessional education and collaboration across campuses.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited program and eligibility to practice in Texas.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency or at least five years of acute care clinical experience.
• Ability to engage in research and scholarly activity; contribute to curriculum development and student mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PharmD curriculum content for Professional Years 1–4 (PY1–PY4) related to pharmacotherapy and pharmacy practice.
• Pursue scholarly activity; contribute to department and college research efforts.
• Engage in interprofessional education and service to the university, profession, and community.
• Maintain an internal medicine clinical practice supporting interprofessional patient care and experiential education.
