HCA Healthcare's Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho is seeking a BC Internal Medicine physician to serve as GME faculty for our 30-resident IM Residency Program.

The successful candidate will mentor residents, collaborate with the Program Director, and advance the IM residency with opportunities for scholarly activity. No weekend call; inpatient rotations are available but not required, depending on interest.

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Proven ability to teach and mentor residents.
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho is seeking a BC Internal Medicine physician to serve as GME faculty for our 30 resident IM Residency Program.

Qualified Candidates

• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Preferred candidates must possess excellent interpersonal/administrative/team building skills
• The ideal candidate has a strong desire to teach the next generation of internists, be intricately involved in the IM residency program, and serve as a role model and mentor for physicians in training.
• Access to inpatient rotations is possible, but not part of the primary role or required in any part if an incoming candidate does not want to do inpatient work
• Working in tandem with our Program Director, candidates with a broad knowledge of, and commitment to, internal medicine will enjoy the opportunity to continue to develop a top rated program with full support

No weekend call

• Experience in scholarly activity would be a plus
