Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a full-time Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to join Jersey Shore University Medical Center's residency program in Neptune, New Jersey. You will provide direct patient care and teach residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient settings, while advancing medical education and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from a recognized medical or osteopathic school.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Board-certified/Board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Ability to obtain New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS license.
• Excellent clinical and teaching skills.
• Proven commitment to research and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the internal medicine faculty inpatient service and in the outpatient clinics.
• Supervise, teach, mentor and evaluate residents and students rotating on both the inpatient service and at the outpatient clinics.
• Participate in the residency and medical student didactics series including lectures, morning report, journal club and morbidity and mortality.
• Participate in residency interviews and recruitment processes.
