Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a full-time Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care and teach residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Candidates with excellent clinical skills, strong communication and a commitment to outstanding patient care and medical education are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Internal Medicine residency training required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Ability to obtain NJ medical license, DEA and CDS licenses.
• Excellent clinical and teaching skills.
• Commitment to research and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on inpatient and outpatient services.
• Supervise, teach, mentor and evaluate residents and students.
• Participate in didactics, lectures, and journal clubs.
• Participate in residency interviews and recruitment.
