Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. The role combines direct patient care with teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The candidate will participate in didactics, morning reports, journal clubs and residency recruitment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Residency in Internal Medicine completed
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain New Jersey medical license, DEA and CDS
• Strong teaching and clinical skills
• Commitment to research and quality improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the internal medicine faculty inpatient service and outpatient clinics
• Supervise, teach, mentor and evaluate residents and medical students on inpatient and outpatient services
• Lead residency and medical student didactics, lectures, and morbidity and mortality sessions

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a full-time Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care and teach residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates with excellent clinical skills, strong communication and a commitment to outstanding patient care and medical education are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the internal medicine faculty inpatient service and in the outpatient clinics.
• Supervise, teach, mentor and evaluate residents and students rotating on both the inpatient service and at the outpatient clinics.
• Participate in the residency and medical student didactics series including lectures, morning report, journal club and morbidity and mortality.
• Participate in residency interviews and recruitment processes.

Requirements Include

• M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
• Residency training in Internal Medicine
• Board-certified/Board-eligible in Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS license.
• Excellent clinical and teaching skills.
• Proven commitment to research and quality improvement.
