Albany Med Health System seeks a board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join as ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE dedicated to educational leadership. You will be part of a collaborative residency leadership team, integrating patient care with ambulatory medical education and scholarship.

The role includes co-directing the ambulatory curriculum, supervising residents in continuity clinics, and engaging with medical students and other learners in a busy academic

Responsibilities

• Co-lead continuity clinics and ambulatory curriculum in residency program.
• Co-direct the ambulatory curriculum and participate in the clinical competency committee.
• Lead educational leadership activities as part of APD responsibilities (0.25 FTE).
• Collaborate with hospitalist colleagues to integrate patient care with education.

Albany Med Health System is seeking a dedicated and dynamic board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our Internal Medicine academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE allocated for educational leadership responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a collaborative residency leadership team, integrating patient care with ambulatory medical education and scholarship.

• Be part of a cornerstone practice in the Albany Medical College (AMC) Internal Medicine residency training program, supporting 60 residents, including 32 in continuity practice at our Internal Medicine Group (IMG).

• Co-direct the internal medicine ambulatory curriculum and participate as a member of the clinical competency committee.
• Work in a patient centered medical home with 10 faculty and 3 advanced practitioners, committed to serving patients in the greater Capital District of Albany, NY.
• Engage with medical students, as well as physician assistant and pharmacy students.
• Experience the support of academic Hospitalist colleagues managing inpatient admissions.
