Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Internal Logistics Manager in Wisconsin to lead in-plant material flow, line-side replenishment, and cross-functional logistics improvements. You will manage supervisors and hourly teams to ensure timely supply to production, maintain inventory integrity, and drive Lean practices across the plant.

• Support KPI development and daily execution of plant goals.

About this role

The Internal Logistics Manager leads material flow, line-side replenishment and internal material handling across the plant. This role manages supervisors and hourly teams to ensure production is supplied on time, with accurate inventory and efficient, Lean flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages internal logistics operations: line-side replenishment, material handling and in-plant flow.
• Ensures on-time delivery of materials to production and minimizes line-down risk.
• Leads logistics supervisors and hourly material handlers across shifts.
• Owns inventory accuracy, cycle counts and transaction discipline.
• Drives Lean logistics (kanban, milk-run, pull systems, water-spider) and layout improvements.
• Manages material-handling equipment, staffing plans and labor productivity.
• Ensures safe operation and compliance with OSHA and powered-industrial-truck requirements.
• Supports the development, implementation, adherence and owns the daily execution of KPIs to measure the process effectiveness and impact in the Plant Goals.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive continuous optimization of line feeding and material presentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of internal logistics, warehousing or materials experience, including 2+ years of people leadership.
• 2+ years of experience managing line-side replenishment and in-plant material flow.
• 2+ years of experience with WMS/ERP transactions and inventory accuracy programs.
• 2+ years of experience managing multi-shift hourly teams and material-handling equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• APICS or Lean certification.
• Experience applying Lean logistics concepts (kanban, milk-run, pull systems).
• Strong safety orientation (OSHA, PIT/forklift compliance).
• Experience in high-growth or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of logistics automation (AGVs, AS/RS).
• Six Sigma Certification.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
